Overview
As the Associate Creative Director (Copy) you will find yourself at the intersection of doing the work and learning to lead the charge. You’ll be able to apply your exceptionally established craft, and we’ve be exposed to countless ways of leveraging the written word in different mediums while trying on a new responsibility—leadership.
Senior writers will seek our thoughtful input and you’ll have the opportunity to lead in creative direction.
Responsibilities
+ Support and lead the creative team in brainstorming sessions and concept creation
+ Creating impactful content that supports marketing and branding efforts for our client.
+ Maintain up-to-date knowledge of client’s products and services and company related industry trends
+ Stay current on the appropriate style guidelines and brand voice for consistent messaging
+ Partner to Interpret creative briefs to develop concepts for executions
+ Write original copy and edit content for a range of marketing and communications materials
+ Collaborate with a team of other creative staff and marketers, from concept development to delivery of final product
+ Be able to confidently present copy, concepts and final deliverables to internal team
+ Creating sleek copy and messaging for market launches, multiple channels and for larger awareness campaigns.
+ Ideating together with the team on new fun ways of communicating our product.
+ Experienced in creating compelling content that elevates engagement, enhances customer loyalty, and drives business revenue.
+ Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve content strategy and drive customer engagement
+ Analyzing customer data to understand audience needs and preferences
+ Creatively using SEO principles to maximize copy's reach
+ Ensuring brand consistency in style, tone, and voice
+ Offer smart, thoughtful points of view on creative concepts
+ Exhibit a strong strategic sense—offer feedback and challenges to strengthen creative brief
+ Stay current on latest industry trends
+ Pay attention to the details: i.e., grammar
+ Maintain the highest quality on creative deliverables
+ Be receptive to constructive criticism
+ Be proactive in finding ways to support the creative team
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Communications, Creative Writing or Advertising/Portfolio school
+ 7+ years of professional creative writing
+ Experience in an advertising or interactive agency a plus
+ Portfolio that demonstrates conceptual brand work, TV/video, and social
+ Creative writing pieces
+ Strong awareness and understanding of the digital landscape, including online campaigns and interactive experiences
+ Financial experience is a PLUS

Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
