    Overview

     

    Our Data & Analysis team is a group of curious, agile, and collaborative strategic analysts. We collect, connect, and analyze data, transforming it into meaningful stories that drive overall marketing strategy and smarter business decisions. To help with this, we’re looking for an outstanding Data Operations Senior Analyst— someone who welcomes ambiguity, thinks critically and strategically, has a passion for connecting people and processes more efficiently, is excited to improve and maintain tools used to support a strong data foundation.     Responsibilities

    + Analyze data and consult with subject matter experts to design and develop business rules for data processing

    + Create and/or maintain SQL scripts

    + Where applicable, work with data engineers to assure specifications are understood and followed

    + Be responsible for ensuring that campaign performance data is easily accessible and reliable

    + Monitor, troubleshoot, and remediate data quality across marketing data systems ensuring full understanding of client deliverables

    + Design and execute data quality checks

    + Keep up to date on digital media operations – new partners, buy changes, etc.

    + Govern taxonomy additions, application, and use

    + Serve as a knowledge expert for media and site data processes and identify areas of improvement to ensure appropriate turnaround times and data quality standards are being met

    + Evaluate opportunities for simplification and/or automation for reporting and various processes

    + Influence teams towards data-informed decision-making and analytical thinking

    + Promote a culture of process documentation

    + Provide guidance on process improvements and best practices for data management

    + Work closely with other Data and Analysis teams, providing recommendations and direction on visualization of our data

    Qualifications

    + 3-4 years of applicable experience

    + A four-year college degree; advanced degree is a plus

    + Strong attention to detail

    + Excellent oral and written communication skills

    + Passion for problem solving

    + Passion for data automation and finding efficiencies in current processes

    + Passion for digital marketing, eagerness to learn in a constantly changing space, and a natural curiosity

    + Proficient with SQL and data visualization tools (i.e. Google Looker, Tableau, PowerBI)

    + Knowledge and experience with Python and/or R a plus

    + Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (including BigQuery) a plus

    + Comfortable in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment

    Compensation Range: 73150-101000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
