We are seeking an energetic **Heavy Industrial Mechanic** to join our **La Porte TX** team. You can change direction at a moment's notice, maintain all plant equipment to include, but not limited to troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairs. Preform daily preventative maintenance as assigned by leadership.

+ Disassemble/Reassemble heavy and mobile equipment to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair
+ Fabricate metal pieces and replace gaskets as needed
+ Troubleshoot, repair and test all equipment to ensure functionality
+ Utilize propylene cutting rig
+ Repair equipment using MIG and/or stick welding
+ Other duties as assigned
+ Enter data for repairs, diagnosis, preventative maintenance, inventory check out and time
+ Complete daily work and training on computers
What does it take to work at Clean Harbors?
+ High School Diploma or equivalent
+ Must pass Bennett Mechanical II test
+ 3+ years’ experience with heavy industrial maintenance and mobile equipment repair in a plant environment
+ Diesel Certification required
+ Air Conditioning Certification or equivalent required
+ Caterpillar and Kubota engine repair experience, certifications or education a plus!
+ Hydraulics Systems troubleshooting repair required
+ Must understand schematics to troubleshoot 12&24v heavy equipment systems
+ Required cutting rig (propylene cutting torch)
+ Valid Drivers’ License
+ Computer literate
