GENERAL SUMMARY:

+ Under general supervision of the Principal Investigator, in conjunction with the Coordinator, or Data Manager, assists with developing, maintaining, and optimizing a data warehouse and databases for health services research and health policy analysis.

+ Performs design and construction, data verification, and documentation.

+ Partners with stakeholders for policy and health services evaluations.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

+ Bachelor's Degree in a health science, biostatistics, computer science, or a related field required. Master's Degree in biostatistics, or computer science preferred.

+ Four (4) years of experience in data programming required.

+ Experience with SAS required.

+ Experience in data programming in healthcare research preferred.

+ At least three (3) years in a healthcare environment preferred.

+ At least three (3) years in a research environment preferred.

+ Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and customer-service skills with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues with different levels of technical and scientific knowledge.

+ Desire and willingness to learn and develop new skills.

+ This position is hybrid - 3 days work in the office at One Ford Place, Detroit and 2 days work from home.

+ Four (4) years of experience in data programming required. Experience with SAS required.

+ Experience in data programming in healthcare research preferred.
