    Title I After the Bell Tutor

    POSITION TITLE:

    Title I After the Bell Tutor

     

    Saint Adalbert's School

     

    Hourly rate: $40.00/hour

    GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS:

    Reports to: Building Principal, Director of Title I

     

    After School Only

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    + Title I Academic Tutor works directly with identified Title I students that are failing or at risk of failing providing intervention support in reading, language arts, and math for the after school tutoring program

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + Two (2) years of effective classroom teaching experience

    + Thorough and complete knowledge of Indiana Academic Math and Reading/Language Arts Standards

    + Proven leadership ability

    + An explicit understanding of effective Math and Reading/Language Arts curriculum and instructional practices

    + Appropriate Licensing to teach K-8, HQ
