Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring an **Extraction Lab Technician** for our pharmaceutical partner in **Ankeny, IA**
This role supports daily laboratory operations with a focus on extraction and PCR production. The ideal candidate will lead general operations, maintain workspace orderliness, and prepare essential materials for technical workflows. We are looking for a proactive individual capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment.
**Shift:** 1st Shift (Sunday – Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) **Pay Rate:** $24.35/hr **Duration:** 6 months to start, with the possibility for extension
Key Responsibilities
+ **Laboratory Operations:** Lead daily housekeeping, orderliness, and cleanliness of the workspace; manage and receive labware inventory to ensure sufficient stock.
+ **Sample Management:** Receive and accurately label incoming samples for processing.
+ **Technical Support:** Prepare buffers and reagents; troubleshoot and operate equipment required for PCR Production.
+ **Documentation:** Review and archive task-related documents; maintain accurate logs and electronic records.
+ **Team Collaboration:** Interface effectively with research, manufacturing, and technical teams; work with multiple supervisors to deliver high-quality results.
+ **Task Management:** Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in a global, fast-paced environment.
Compliance & Safety
+ Adhere to Employee Safety and Health (ESH) guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and workflow guidelines.
+ Maintain a safe and organized laboratory environment.
+ Wear required PPE at all times to ensure personal and facility safety.
Qualifications
+ **Experience:** 1–3 years of relevant laboratory or research experience.
+ **Education:** High School Diploma or GED required; **Bachelor’s degree preferred** .
+ **Skills:** Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multi-cultural team.
+ **Physical/Environmental:** Ability to work a Sunday–Thursday schedule and thrive in a fast-moving production setting.

**Pay Details:** $24.35 per hour
