    **Location:** Kansas City, MO

     

    Compensation & Incentives

    OR Tech II (Tier 2):

    **Pay:** $25–$35/hr _(up to 17 years of experience considered)_

    **Sign-On Bonus:** $15,000

    OR Tech III (Tier 3):

    **Pay:** $27–$37/hr _(up to 17 years of experience considered)_

    **CV-Certified Candidates:** Eligible for higher pay tier up to **$45/hr** , based on experience

    **Sign-On Bonus:** $20,000

    **On-Call Pay:** $3/hr

    **Shift Differentials:** $3/hr Nights | $3/hr Weekends

    **On-Call Requirement:** Must live within **30 minutes** of the facility

     

    Schedule Options

    OR Tech II:

    • 3×12s, General OR

    • Mixed or Nights

    • Rotating weekends

    OR Tech III:

    • 40-hour work week

    • Mixed schedule

    • Rotating weekends

    Key Responsibilities (Both Tiers)

     

    Prepare and maintain the sterile surgical environment

     

    Assist with patient transport, positioning, prepping, and draping

     

    Scrub in and anticipate surgeon needs during procedures

     

    Handle instruments, supplies, and specimens

     

    Maintain sterile field and support efficient room turnover

     

    Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia teams

    Qualifications

    OR Tech II (Tier 2):

    1+ year of OR Tech experience

    Competent as first scrub in **3 of 4 specialties** :

    Robotic, Total Joints, Neuro/Spine, Vascular

     

    Graduate of an accredited CORT program

     

    CST (NBSTSA) preferred

     

    BLS required upon hire

    OR Tech III (Tier 3):

    1+ year of OR Tech experience **with endovascular experience** in a vascular hybrid OR

    Competent to lead in **all specialties** :

    Robotic, Total Joints, Neuro/Spine, Burn, Vascular

     

    Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar-size facility

     

    Graduate of an accredited CORT program

    Certification Required:

    • CST (NBSTSA) **or**

    • TS-C (NCCT)

     

    BLS required within 30 days of hire

    **Pay Details:** $25.00 to $37.00 per hour
