Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a Greenhouse Biologist for our pharmaceutical partner in St. Louis, MO.

**Pay** : 30- 34/hr depending on education and experience

Job Description:

The Greenhouse Biologist will support plant research by studying fundamental principles of plant growth and assessing the effects of environmental and physical conditions on plant performance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable working in dynamic controlled-environment settings.

Under general supervision, this role performs a wide range of daily greenhouse and growth chamber activities, including:

+ Sowing, transplanting, and harvesting row crops (canola, corn, cotton, and soybeans)

+ Routine plant care, monitoring, and maintenance

+ Seed processing, discarding plant material, and maintaining cleanliness of work areas

+ Supporting experimental setups and following established protocols

+ Working in elevated temperatures during warmer months

+ Standing for extended periods and performing repetitive manual tasks

+ Participating in rotational weekend duties as needed

Creativity, sound judgment, and the ability to follow standard concepts, practices, and procedures are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications:

+ Experience working in controlled environments or greenhouse operations preferred (commercial greenhouse experience strongly considered)

+ Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions

+ Ability to work independently while contributing to research objectives

Education:

+ Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Biology, Horticulture, or another Life Science field required

**Pay Details:** $30.00 to $34.00 per hour
