Description
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for providing students with industry-recognized instruction and training in the Career Technical Training Center, preparing them for full-time employment, higher education, or advanced training. Maintains strict confidentiality of sensitive information and ensures the integrity of all student data.

RESPONSIBILITIES Integrity & Compliance
+ Follows all integrity guidelines and procedures, ensuring no manipulation of student data.
+ Ensures the Center meets or exceeds DOL/Company performance goals.
Training & Student Progress
+ Provides students with training that leads to Career Technical Training completion and industry-recognized certifications.
+ Delivers comprehensive and individualized case management to support student progress, achievement, and completion of the Job Corps program.
+ Provides quality career technical training that supports student job placement.
+ Offers students job leads and monitors the placement of all graduates.
Classroom Environment
+ Ensures the classroom is well-organized and conducive to learning.
+ Holds students accountable for following the Center’s dress code and behavioral standards.

+ Produces high-quality work/assignments in a thorough, timely, and accurate manner.
+ Maintains appropriate attendance, accountability, and work productivity.
+ Plans, prioritizes, and organizes assignments to meet established goals and deadlines.
+ Demonstrates strong job knowledge and proactively maintains necessary skills.
+ Mentors, monitors, and models the Career Success Standards as required by the PRH.

+ Works in partnership with all departments to ensure effective student services.
Flexibility & Direction
+ Accepts direction from the Center Director/Center Duty Officer/Shift Manager, including temporary assignments to perform responsibilities in other departments or positions.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Professional Requirements
+ Minimum of one year of experience in teaching or a related field required.
+ Must be certified, licensed, or accredited in the state where the Center is located, or accredited by a professional trade organization.
+ For NTC, the instructor must be certified by a union, trade organization, or a national trade-certifying organization.
+ Previous Job Corps experience preferred.
+ Must possess a valid Driver’s License and meet all company insurability requirements.
Physical Requirements
+ Includes sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping, and crouching.
+ Must demonstrate the ability to lift 40 pounds, and/or assess the lift load to determine when assistance is needed.
