Job Title: Principal Electrical Engineer
Job Description
Join our innovative R&D organization as a Principal Electronics Engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in developing the next generation robotic platform set to revolutionize the future of healthcare. As a technical lead, you will tackle complex multi-disciplinary issues and establish best practices for electrical engineering development within a regulated medical device environment.
Responsibilities
+ Lead and resolve complex multidisciplinary issues using good practices and thorough documentation.
+ Develop, document, and maintain detailed processes and best practices for medical electronics development.
+ Design, document, and execute electronic tests to ensure optimal performance.
+ Conduct circuit analysis, focusing on mixed signal, digital, and analog circuits, with strong fundamentals.
+ Troubleshoot electrical systems, including PCB testing, to enhance device reliability and safety.
+ Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to drive design iterations and improvements.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in electrical engineering, including troubleshooting, PCB, analog, digital, and test engineering.
+ Experience with hardware, circuit analysis, and the use of Altium for electronic design.Alt
+ Working knowledge of medical standards such as IEC 60601-1, IEC 60601-1-2.
+ Ability to lead and resolve complex issues while documenting processes meticulously.
+ Experience in developing Class II & III medical devices within a regulatory environment.
+ Strong electronics fundamentals for analog, digital, and electromechanical design.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required, MS or PhD preferred.
+ Minimum of 15 years of experience in R&D or product development.
+ Demonstrated experience with electronic design for motor control and mixed-signal applications.
+ Highly proficient in the use of electrical CAD tools, with Altium preferred.
+ Possess working knowledge of EMC and electrical safety.
+ Proficiency in analytical tools such as MATLAB/Simulink and Spice.
+ Strong presentation and technical collaboration skills, including project management abilities.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $75.00/hr.
