Job Title: Manufacturing EngineerJob Description

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will revise and optimize CNC programs for mills, lathes, and multi-axis machines. Your role involves translating engineering drawings and 3D models into precise machining instructions, while maintaining a library of programs with proper documentation of setups and tooling instructions. You will also support continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing cycle time and minimizing scrap.

Responsibilities

+ Revise and optimize CNC programs for various machines including mills, lathes, and multi-axis machines.

+ Translate engineering drawings and 3D models into accurate machining instructions.

+ Maintain a comprehensive library of CNC programs with detailed documentation.

+ Provide support for continuous improvement initiatives aimed at cycle time reduction and minimizing scrap.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in manufacturing engineering.

+ Expertise in CNC programming.

+ Minimum 2 years of experience as a manufacturing engineer programming CNCs.

+ At least 2 years of experience working with G Codes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Associate degree in a related field.

Work Environment

This is an on-site, on-the-floor role that involves a hands-on approach to manufacturing engineering. The position requires working directly with machines in a dynamic and engaging environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Berlin, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
