    Job Title: Quality InspectorJob Description

     

    We are seeking a diligent Quality Inspector to join our team. This role involves inspecting various components throughout the production process, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and maintaining organized records of inspection results. The position is initially a 6-month contract with the potential for a direct hire opportunity.

    Responsibilities

    + Inspect incoming, in-process, and final assembly components.

    + Use micrometers and calipers to take precise measurements.

    + Assist in calibrating inspection tools and gauges.

    + Document inspection results and maintain quality records.

    + Maintain organization of non-conforming materials.

    Essential Skills

    + 1 to 2 years of experience in quality inspection and measurements.

    + Proficiency with measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers.

    + Experience in blueprint reading and interpreting drawings.

    + Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in the aerospace industry.

    + Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

    Work Environment

    This role involves working primarily on the shop floor within the production area. It is a hands-on position requiring the use of measuring tools and equipment to perform inspections across three key areas: machined parts, paint, and assembly. Quality checks are essential at each stage to ensure compliance with standards.

    This is a Contract position based out of Strongsville, OH.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
