Job Title: Senior Project Architect
Job Description
We are seeking a licensed Senior Project Architect with 10 to 15+ years of experience in leading complex projects within the science and technology studio. The role requires proficiency in Revit, construction documentation, building code analysis, and consultant coordination across all phases. A strong knowledge of life safety, entitlement processes, and jurisdictional approvals is essential, along with experience mentoring junior staff and managing client relationships. Ideal candidates will have backgrounds in higher education, labs, data centers, semiconductor, and secure government projects.
Responsibilities
+ Lead all phases of the design process with technical expertise and design excellence.
+ Manage multiple projects of varying scale, including secure executive conference rooms and high-security office buildings and data centers.
+ Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure project success.
+ Oversee quality control reviews and ensure conformance with design intent and standards.
+ Guide and mentor junior staff, transferring knowledge and supporting team development.
+ Engage with building codes, entitlement processes, and regulatory reviews.
+ Contribute to marketing pursuits, proposal preparation, and client interviews.
+ Collaborate with national teams and contribute to firmwide initiatives.
Essential Skills
+ 10+ years of professional experience, ideally 15+ years, with leadership potential.
+ NAAB-accredited architecture degree (B.Arch or M.Arch) and an architectural license.
+ Strong knowledge of design process, construction documentation, and administration.
+ Experience with commercial, higher education, and mission-critical projects.
+ Ability to manage client relationships and work with technically focused stakeholders.
+ Advanced proficiency in Revit.
+ Familiarity with building, zoning, and energy codes.
+ Experience with site analysis, design studies, contract documents, and specifications.
+ Strong construction contract administration skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Software proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop), Enscape, Lumion, VRay.
+ Experience with physical modeling tools such as 3D printing and laser cutting.
+ Environmental analysis tools: Pollination Ladybug, Climate Studio.

Our work environment supports a hybrid/flexible schedule, allowing for 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
