Job Title: Construction Materials TechnicianJob Description
We are seeking a skilled Construction Materials Technician with over two years of experience to join our field division. This role involves performing on-site testing of concrete and soils, ensuring quality and compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct on-site testing of concrete and soils.
+ Break cylinders and run proctors for accurate testing results.
+ Travel to various local job sites with the necessary tools to collect samples of concrete, soils, and aggregates.
+ Ensure all work is conducted in compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction materials and geotechnical field.
+ Proficiency in concrete inspection, soil testing, and using a nuclear gauge.
+ ACI Certification is required.
+ Ability to work independently in the field.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ ACI Level 1 Field Certification is preferred.
+ Possession of 3rd party independent certifications such as ICC, NICET, or TXAPA.
+ A clean driving record, background check, and drug screen are mandatory.
Work Environment
This position requires working 100% in the field, with hours ranging from 40 to 70 per week. Candidates must be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, rain, and cold. The role may also require working during early morning hours for 1 or 2 am concrete pours.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
