    This role involves sorting, racking, registering, labeling, and storing specimens. You will also be responsible for data entry and miscellaneous tasks delegated by leadership as they pertain to the accession of frozen samples.

    Responsibilities

    + Sort, rack, register, label, and store specimens accurately.

    + Perform data entry related to specimen handling and registration.

    + Assist with miscellaneous tasks as delegated by leadership.

    + Ensure proper accession of frozen samples.

    Essential Skills

    + High school diploma required.

    + Proficiency in data entry and typing.

    + Experience with computers.

    + Attention to detail is crucial.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in specimen registration is beneficial.

    + Strong attention to detail.

    + Experience in collection and registration of specimens.

    Work Environment

    This position is for the 3rd shift. The dress code requires that nails do not protrude through latex gloves to maintain safety. Employees can wear t-shirts with writing as long as it is not offensive or controversial; however, a lab coat will cover the top half while in the lab. Long pants are required without tears or exposed ankles. Sweatpants are not allowed, and yoga pants or leggings may soon be banned. Shoes must not have exposed skin, and open-toed footwear is prohibited. The company offers a full gym, cafeteria, and team-building activities such as food trucks and sundaes.     This is a Contract position based out of Lancaster, PA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $19.80 - $20.70/hr.
