Job Description
Seeking an entry-level Controls & Instrumentation Engineer to support projects ranging from small studies to multi-million dollar turn-key supply. The ideal candidate will be team-oriented, organized, communicate effectively across all organizational levels, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. This role involves detailing electrical specifications for part/equipment design and programming PLCs.
Responsibilities
+ Detail electrical specifications for selection and design of parts and equipment.
+ Program and configure PLCs, focusing on Allen Bradley PLCs.
+ Engage in HMI programming using tools like FactoryTalk.
+ Participate in the design of control systems and automation solutions.
+ Collaborate with teams to ensure project requirements are met efficiently.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer Science, or Mechatronics Engineering.
+ Experience or internship in Controls/Electrical Engineering.
+ Proficiency in programming PLCs, particularly Allen Bradley.
+ Familiarity with HMI programming, preferably FactoryTalk.
+ Understanding of instrumentation controls and equipment specification.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Interest in electronics, instrumentation, and control systems.
+ Experience with data acquisition systems, VFDs, and motion control systems.
+ Knowledge of communication networks and PID control.
+ Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
Work Environment
This position requires on-site work with the benefit of half days on Fridays. Expect to travel to customer sites for meetings, installations, commissioning, and troubleshooting. Work involves control devices such as PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servo drives, and industrial instrumentation. The standard work week is Monday to Friday, with little to no overtime.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $37.00 - $40.00/hr.
