    Job Title: Senior Civil Project Manager

     

    Salary Range: $160,000 – $180,000 (Flexibility up to $200K for exceptional candidates)

     

    Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

    About the Role

    Are you a seasoned civil engineer ready to step into a leadership role with a clear path to Principal? This position combines project management, technical oversight, and business development—perfect for someone who thrives on both strategic leadership and technical excellence.

     

    You’ll lead complex wastewater and water infrastructure projects (75% wastewater), mentor project managers and junior engineers, and ensure technical quality across all deliverables.     What You’ll Do

    + Leadership & Oversight:Direct and mentor project managers and junior staff.

    + Provide technical oversight and stamp design drawings.

    + Occasionally engage in hands-on design and project bidding.

    + Project Management:Manage large-scale wastewater and water infrastructure projects.

    + Ensure projects meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

    + Client Development:Interface with public agencies and clients.

    + Develop new work and maintain existing relationships (book of business not required).

    What We’re Looking For

    + Qualifications:Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

    + Bachelor’s degree from an ABET-accredited civil or mechanical engineering program.

    + Extensive experience in process engineering and project management.

    + Technical Expertise:Strong background in wastewater infrastructure, sewer systems, and water/stormwater treatment design.

    + Ability to review and approve design packages; Civil 3D familiarity is a plus.

    + Attributes for Success:Proven leadership and mentoring skills.

    + Ability to balance technical oversight with business development.

    + Comfortable with occasional site visits (mostly Southern California).

    Nice-to-Have Skills

    + Experience with public agencies.

    + Broad technical background in water/wastewater/stormwater systems.

    + Familiarity with permitting and regulatory compliance.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $160000.00 - $180000.00/yr.
