Job Title: Document Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Document Specialist responsible for managing and maintaining production and quality documents. This role ensures accurate storage and organization of documents, supporting compliance with quality standards.
Responsibilities
+ File and maintain production and quality documents, ensuring accurate storage and organization.
+ Manage and maintain the document room to ensure quick access during audits or investigations.
+ Digitize paper records through scanning and upload them into the document management system.
+ Retrieve documentation as requested by internal teams or external partners.
+ Coordinate with a third-party storage provider to request or send overflow documents.
+ Uphold good documentation practices (GDP) and support compliance with quality standards.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in document control, quality assurance, and data entry.
+ Proficiency in scanning, filing, copying, and archiving.
+ Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and GMP.
+ Experience with batch record review and documentation quality assurance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High School Diploma or GED with 1-3 years of experience.
+ Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
+ Technically savvy and comfortable with scanning software and document systems.
+ Familiarity with quality assurance knowledge is a plus.
+ Previous experience in biotech or pharma preferred but open to diverse backgrounds.
Work Environment
The position requires working 100% onsite from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday. The role is within a quality team comprising 7-10 people. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, as the role involves interacting and driving communication across various groups.

This is a Contract position based out of Winslow, ME.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
