Job Title: Construction Project Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Construction Project Engineer to develop and oversee detailed project plans for large-scale datacenter construction projects. This role involves monitoring project risks, working closely with clients to meet their expectations, and managing multiple project schedules to ensure timely delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction project management and a proven track record of delivering successful projects.
Responsibilities
+ Develop and oversee detailed project plans, including timelines and resource requirements.
+ Monitor project risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential issues.
+ Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and ensure project outcomes meet expectations.
+ Maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
+ Proactively manage multiple project schedules to ensure objectives are met.
+ Continuously improve planning processes and tools for increased efficiency.
+ Provide regular project updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Essential Skills
+ senior level experience in construction project management.
+ Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
+ Proficiency in project planning software, including Primavera P6 and MS Project.
+ Strong understanding of CPM scheduling methodology.
+ Ability to analyze EPC plans/schedules and provide insights.
+ Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
+ Experience in planning medium-sized capital projects ($50MM - $200MM+).
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in the oil, gas, or chemicals industry.
+ Proficiency in MS Excel.
+ Attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work.
Work Environment
This position is 100% remote, preferably for candidates located in PST or CST time zones, or those able to work during those hours. The role requires a commitment of 40 hours per week.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Redmond, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $79.00 - $89.00/hr.
