    Job Title: CAD Technician

    Job Description

    As a CAD Technician, you will be responsible for creating detailed drawings of material handling equipment, work areas, and components. Your work will be based on current examples and will support future design initiatives, requiring a high level of detail in both plan views and elevation views. This role demands a self-starter who can work independently to create drawing sets that standardize workspaces and designs across a large network of fulfillment centers.

    Responsibilities

    + Create detailed drawings of material handling equipment and work areas.

    + Develop design support for future initiatives.

    + Produce detailed plan and elevation views for standardization purposes.

    + Work independently to develop drawing sets with minimal direction.

    + Contribute to layout design, process flow, and production line design.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum 5 years of CAD operating experience with the ability to manage layers.

    + Associate’s Degree in Drafting and Design.

    + Solidworks experience

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Experience in conveyor design and layout.

    + Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.

    + Ability to communicate effectively to various audiences.

    + Leadership skills to manage small groups.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract position based out of Falmouth, MA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $37.90 - $39.60/hr.
