Job Description
Our client is adding a Project Architect to their Retail Studio in Seattle. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and has a strong experience in construction documentation and detailing. You’ll lead multiple retail rollout projects (typically 4–6 at a time), working closely with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality, code-compliant drawing sets. You’ll make an immediate impact by driving technical accuracy, coordinating specifications, and guiding project teams through design and documentation phases.
Responsibilities
+ Lead multiple active projects from design through construction.
+ Produce detailed construction document sets and coordinate specifications.
+ Manage client communication and consultant coordination.
+ Oversee internal teams and mentor junior staff.
+ Support construction administration and project delivery.
Required Skills
+ Expertise in Revit and construction documentation.
+ Strong experience in architecture and retail projects.
+ Proven ability to lead multiple projects and teams concurrently.
+ Skilled in client engagement and presenting design solutions.
+ Extensive experience in construction detailing.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with high-volume retail rollout projects (food & beverage preferred).
+ Familiarity with specifications and consultant coordination.
+ Licensed architect preferred.
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD is a plus.
Disqualifiers
+ No Revit experience.
+ Less than 5 years of architectural experience.
+ No experience producing construction documents.
+ Inability to work in a hybrid schedule (Mon–Thu in-office).
+ Poor collaboration or communication skills.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Seattle, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $45.00/hr.
