    The Junior Electrical Estimator supports the estimating department by assisting in the preparation of accurate and competitive electrical cost estimates for construction and engineering projects. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals with foundational knowledge of electrical systems and a strong interest in cost analysis and project planning.

    Responsibilities

    + Assist in preparing accurate electrical cost estimates for construction and engineering projects.

    + Collaborate with the estimating team to analyze project requirements and specifications.

    + Support the development of project planning strategies.

    + Participate in reviewing and analyzing project documents and drawings.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.

    + 0–2 years of experience in electrical estimating or working at an electrical contractor.

    + Basic understanding of electrical systems and construction practices.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with construction and electrical engineering.

    + Familiarity with estimation software such as Accubid and AutoCAD.

    + Experience with electrical contracting is a plus.

     

    Work Environment

     

    You will be working as part of an estimating team alongside four other professionals in an office environment.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Louisville, KY.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $31.25/hr.
