Job Title: Medical AssistantJob Description
As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient clinical operations within a specialty practice. You will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience by working with two different Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
Responsibilities
+ Room patients and document all vital information accurately.
+ Scribe information for the dermatologist during patient consultations.
+ Clean and stock exam rooms to maintain a sterile and organized environment.
+ Schedule patient appointments and manage clinic flow efficiently.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in medical assisting and understanding of medical terminology.
+ Experience with patient care and ability to handle patient interactions professionally.
+ Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically NextGen and EMA.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification.
+ DERM Tech certification is preferred.
+ 1-2 years of recent experience in a medical office setting in a similar role.
Work Environment
The work environment is a specialty practice where you will wear solid color scrubs, with any color being acceptable except black. The team generally takes a one-hour lunch break, usually scheduled based on clinic flow. You will work closely with healthcare providers to ensure the best patient care.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portsmouth, NH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
