Job Title: Junior Estimator / Assistant Project Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Junior Estimator / Assistant Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing plans, specifications, and project documents to prepare detailed cost estimates. Additionally, you will solicit and analyze bids from subcontractors and suppliers, assist in developing project schedules and budgets, and support project managers with contract administration, change orders, and requests for information (RFIs).
Responsibilities
+ Prepare detailed cost estimates by reviewing plans, specifications, and project documents.
+ Solicit and analyze bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
+ Assist in the development of project schedules and budgets.
+ Support project managers with contract administration, change orders, and RFIs.
+ Maintain effective communication with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
+ Track project progress and assist in resolving field issues.
+ Ensure compliance with company standards and safety requirements.
Essential Skills
+ 2–5 years of experience in commercial construction estimating or project management.
+ Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
+ Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Strong organizational and communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field preferred.

This position is based in an office environment. It offers opportunities for growth and requires collaboration with various stakeholders in the construction process.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orlando, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
