The selected applicant will be providing support to existing production applications and will be providing work management and technical leadership to a team performing technical analysis, design, development, documentation, testing, deployment and implementation of changes, modifications, and enhancements to legacy applications.

Job Description:

+ Responsible for analysis, design, programming, testing and implementation for new and existing legacy application software, and production support for systems with medium complexity.

+ Primary DXC client point of contact in the COS area.

+ Qualifications include good organizational skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, good time management skills, ability to work independently and effectively communicate with team members and customers.

+ The applicant must be capable of working at a broad technical level and must be able to apply business knowledge and technical skills to systems development.

+ Position requires 6+ years of programming and related experience as outlined above.

+ Mainframe application skills and experience are required. Skills and tools include (but not limited to): COBOL, IMS, DB2, MFS, DLT0, Debugger, Syncsort, TSO and other IBM Z/OS mainframe technologies and utilities. ADF knowledge and experience are pluses.

+ Manufacturing experience (preferably in the steel industry) is highly recommended

Basic Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

+ Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, information systems or related field preferred

+ Six or more years of support services or project or program experience

+ Experience working with the technology industry

+ Experience working with company products and operating systems

+ Experience working with computer systems and their use
