**Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences** is hiring a **Microbiologist (Contract)** to support the Quality Microbiology function for a **notable global cosmetics organization** . This role is ideal for a detail-oriented microbiology professional who thrives in a regulated, fast-paced laboratory environment and is passionate about product quality and safety.

**Schedule:** Monday–Friday | 8 hours/day (40 hours/week)

**Interview Process:** Microsoft Teams (alternative arrangements available as needed)

**Pay** Up to 27.2/hr depending on experience and education

**Duration:** 6 months to start with the possibility of extension and more

Key Responsibilities

+ Perform microbiological analysis of raw materials and samples using aseptic techniques

+ Execute established test methods and procedures in accordance with written protocols

+ Collect, process, and accurately interpret test results; draw conclusions based on sound scientific principles

+ Communicate testing status and timelines effectively with management and cross-functional partners

+ Adhere to all written procedures to ensure quality, compliance, and laboratory safety

+ Maintain personal and shared workspaces in alignment with site health and safety guidelines

+ Adapt to changing priorities, delays, or unexpected events while ensuring timely delivery of results and critical milestones

+ Effectively prioritize workload to support multiple concurrent projects

Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in Biology or a related scientific field

+ 1–3 years of post-graduate, professional laboratory experience

+ Working knowledge of aseptic technique, pipetting, media handling, and work within a biological safety cabinet (BSC)

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills

+ Ability to work independently and within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

+ Proven organizational skills with strong attention to detail at the bench

+ Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

**Pay Details:** $25.00 to $27.20 per hour
