QC Technician

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Apply quality assurance principles in a manufacturing environment to support compliance and prevention of defects
+ Verify that in-process controls, inspections, and work instructions are followed correctly
+ Perform verification checks using quality forms and checklist to confirm process capability and compliance
+ Perform quality inspection such as dimensional with inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, scales, etc.), & visual inspection as well as other qualification and validation tests such as DSC, tensile, and etc.
+ Support identification, segregation, and documentation of nonconforming product in accordance with Quality procedures
+ Ensure correct application and removal of API monogram per authorization and nonconformance status
+ Complete accurate documentation and maintain required quality records
+ Support corrective actions by identifying trends, recurring issues, or process gaps
+ Wear appropriate PPE at all times
+ Comply with all NOV Company, HSE, and Quality policies, guidelines, and procedures
+ Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
+ High Scholl Diploma or Associate's degree preferred (Quality, Business, Engineering, or related field)
+ Three years of verifiable work experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
JOB REQUIREMENTS
+ Factory environment with wide temperature variation
+ Standing, walking, bending, and stooping up to 12 hours daily
+ Repetitive movement (shoveling, sweeping, fastening) up to 12 hours daily
+ Lifting to 50 lbs. regularly
+ Push/pull activities up to 12 hours daily
+ Travel less than 10%

+ Ability to adapt and be cross-trained across quality-related tasks
+ Ability to learn and follow technical repair, assembly, and verification procedures
+ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
+ Ability to read and understand drawings, instructions, and work procedures
