Ocean Eye, Inc. is seeking a highly organized, mechanically inclined Technician Assistant to support our team in delivering exceptional service to commercial diving clients worldwide. This role blends hands-on mechanical work, customer service, ticketing, documentation, and team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
+ Assist technicians with equipment work, repair processes, and general shop duties
+ Maintain accurate digital records, reports, and ticket updates
+ Handle shipping, receiving, and processing customer orders
+ Manage small projects and tasks with multiple moving parts
+ Conduct online research as needed for parts, procedures, and customer inquiries
+ Create and update records in company databases; run basic queries
+ Operate video conferencing tools (e.g., Skype) for customer and internal communication
+ Document all actions thoroughly for internal and customer use
+ Provide warm, professional customer service by phone, email, and ticketing systems
+ Follow established company policies, standards, and safety procedures
Required Hard Skills
+ Mechanically inclined; competent with hand tools and power tools
+ Computer literate:
+ Email communication
+ Basic calendaring/organization
+ Basic report writing
+ Proficient in Freshdesk or similar help desk systems
+ Create, update, and close support tickets
+ Familiar with database usage
+ Create records
+ Run simple queries
+ Experience in shipping and order processing
+ Ability to manage projects with multiple steps or dependencies
+ Comfortable performing online research
+ Experience with video conferencing platforms (Skype preferred)

Experience Requirements
