    Responsibilities for Assembly Support Technician

     

    + Ensure all safety procedures are followed, and the proper PPE is in place

    + Interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and procedures

    + Use hand and power tools and torches for disassembly and reassembly of components

    + Use mics, dial indicators, feeler gauges and other precision measuring devices

    + Tack weld assemblies and measure to ensure dimensional accuracy

    + Final weld parts in all postures and positions.

    + Troubleshoot and resolve problems as they occur

     

    Qualifications for Assembly Support Technician

     

    + Must have knowledge in rigging and crane safety

    + Minimum of 5 years' experience with Mig and Oxy-Fuel torch

    + Must have strong attention to detail

    + Familiarity and skill with interpreting technical drawings and blueprints

    + Ability to work independently and closely follow directions is essential

    + Must have a positive and professional attitude

    + Available to work weekends and overtime

    + Capable of standing for extended periods of time
