To protect homes and businesses on the West Bank by ensuring the Flood Protection system operates as designed.
Minimum Qualifications
Four years of experience as a mechanic, or in the alteration, construction, maintenance or repair of bridges, buildings, drainage facilities, grounds, levees, roads, or wharfs.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
This position provides supervision, guidance and limited administration to workers engaged in levee inspection, maintenance, and levee repair activities. Position serves as pump station operator and maintains responsibility for the operation, repair and rehabilitation of all station storm pumping equipment during storm situations.

Appointment Type: *** Promotional - Only Current, Permanent employees of the Southeast LA Flood Protection Authority - West will be Eligible***

Compensation: The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
