About the role
As a **.Net Lead developer** , you will make an impact by designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions that power our business applications and client platforms. You will be a valued member of our **Technology & Engineering** team, collaborating closely with product managers, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.
In this role, you will:
+ Develop and maintain scalable applications using **.NET Core/.NET Framework** , **C#** , **Angular** , **JavaScript/TypeScript** , and **SQL Server** .
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features and enhancements.
+ Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness by identifying and resolving bottlenecks and bugs.
+ Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.
+ Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure optimal functionality.
+ Stay updated with emerging technologies and proactively contribute to new initiatives.
+ Implement best practices for software development, including version control, CI/CD, and automated testing.
+ Provide support and troubleshooting for production issues as needed.
Work model
This is a **hybrid role** , requiring a few days per week in a Cognizant or client office in Dallas, TX,. We strive to provide flexibility wherever possible and support a healthy work-life balance through our wellbeing programs.
What you need to have to be considered
+ 7–11 years of experience in software development.
+ Strong expertise in **Angular 18+** , **JavaScript/TypeScript** , **HTML5** , **CSS3** , **SASS** .
+ Proficiency in **.NET Core/.NET Framework** , **C#** , and **AWS SDK** .
+ Experience with **MS SQL Server** , including stored procedures, triggers, SSRS, and SSIS.
+ Knowledge of **AI technologies** , including coding with LLMs/RAG/Agentic AI and familiarity with tools like **Copilot** or **CodeWhisperer** .
+ Hands-on experience with **Docker** , **AWS/Azure** , and CI/CD pipelines (BitBucket, Jenkins).
+ Developer-level certifications in **AWS** or **Azure** .
These will help you stand out
+ Experience with **Salesforce integration** using .NET.
+ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to mentor junior developers.
+ Familiarity with industry-standard tools and best practices.
+ Passion for continuous learning and staying ahead of technology trends.
