About the role

Our practice is seeking a highly qualified **Senior Java Full Stack Developer** with experience in developing and building impactful, scalable, enterprise applications.

Our Developers have a passion for high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code. You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users.

Work model:

We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office. Regardless of your working arrangement, we are here to support a healthy work-life balance though our various wellbeing programs.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Develop and maintain robust software applications using Java Spring Boot and Angular JS to meet business requirements.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable solutions on AWS.

+ Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity using SQL and mySQL.

+ Implement front-end features using JavaScript and Angular JS to enhance user experience.

+ Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality code standards.

+ Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to maintain system reliability.

+ Participate in agile development processes to deliver projects on time and within scope.

+ Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers to foster team growth.

+ Ensure software security and compliance with industry standards and best practices.

+ Continuously improve software development processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

+ Stay updated with emerging technologies and integrate them into existing systems where applicable.

+ Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

+ Contribute to the companys mission by developing solutions that have a positive impact on society.

Required Qualifications:

+ Required 8 to 12 years of experience

+ Possess a strong understanding of AWS services and cloud computing concepts

+ Demonstrate proficiency in Java Spring Boot and Angular JS for full-stack development.

+ Have extensive experience with SQL and mySQL for database management and optimization.

+ Show expertise in JavaScript for developing interactive front-end applications.

+ Exhibit problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

+ Display excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until January 1st, 2026.

The annual salary for this position is between $81,337– $141,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
