About the Role
As a **Partner, Life Sciences Consulting Digital Transformation** you will make an impact by leading client engagements, driving business growth, and shaping the future of Cognizant’s Life Sciences Consulting practice. You will be a valued member of the Life Sciences Consulting team and work collaboratively with executive stakeholders, clients, and cross-functional teams. You will lead strategic engagements with top lifesciences companies, helping them transform commercial operations, supply chains, and research and development functions through digital capabilities in AI, data and analytics and tech modernization.
In this role, you will:
+ Serve as a Consulting Leader, bringing your areas of respective domain expertise to Cognizant’s clients, as we engineer modern businesses to improve everyday life
+ Own and develop a book of business and actively engage in business development efforts, often owning quota for accounts, and ensuring profitable growth for the practice and for Cognizant
+ Shape Cognizant’s life sciences advisory offerings by identifying market trends and evolving client needs
+ Exercise quality assurance for engagements within your remit
+ Engage in key account expansion, sales leadership, and internal executive stakeholder partnering based upon an expert understanding of such things as emerging market trends, client business direction, clientrequirements, evolving regulatory contexts and the feasibility of transformation goals
+ Establish and nurture relationships with cross-functional client executives and strive to serve as their trusted advisor
+ Leverage industry expertise and market sensibilities to propose forward-leaning refinement or extension of Cognizant’s Advisory Capabilities (offerings)
+ Support and develop a long-term vision for practice
+ Work with others to standardize consulting tools, methods, curricula, and career development requirements
+ Author thought leadership insights on behalf of the practice and advocates within Cognizant for the recognition of Consulting’s contribution to Cognizant’s profitability and market brand

What you must have to be considered
+ Min 15+ years of experience in the medical devices industry, with a strong focus on commercial strategy, supply chain, and digital transformation
+ Proven success in selling and delivering consulting engagements, including pre-sales, client management, and marketing
+ Skilled in applying AI technologies to enhance product development, data integrity, and operational efficiency in regulated environments.
+ Ability to travel as and when required
+ MBA or Master’s degree strongly preferred;
+ A background of extensive management consulting leadership as a practice leader, or business or solution developer in medical devices space
+ A successful track record of setting and achieving engagement targets, controlling budgets, managing forecasts, and driving an organization of professional consultants in winning business and achieving financial targets
+ Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.).

Compensation
The annual salary for this position is between $160,000 - $255,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
