AMI Project Manager responsible for project coordination and schedule planning. Well-acquainted with developing project roadmaps and timelines and meeting strict deadlines in fast-paced environments. Desirous to leverage leadership expertise as a project manager and collaborate with project team members to identify approaches and find new product solutions that meet client’s behaviors and needs.
Highly organized manager with hands-on experience in planning and implementing assigned projects, ensuring timely delivery despite strict time constraints. Looking to utilize strong multi-tasking skills to help the senior team align project objectives with the strategy and ethics of the organization.
Roles & Responsibilities:-
Develop project plans: Create detailed project plans that outline project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements. Understanding smart metering applications products such as Itron, Energy IP Meter data management system, L&G Command Center, Sensus RNI head-end systems, is a must. Functional knowledge of meter-to-cash processes is a must
Manage project teams: Lead and manage project teams, ensuring that team members are aligned with project goals and objectives.
Monitor project progress: Monitor project progress against project plans, identifying and addressing any issues or risks that arise.
Communicate with stakeholders: Communicate project progress and status updates to stakeholders, including senior management, project sponsors, and other key stakeholders.
Manage project budgets: Manage project budgets, ensuring that projects are delivered within budget constraints.
Manage project risks: Identify and manage project risks, developing risk mitigation strategies to minimize the impact of potential risks.
Manage project scope: Manage project scope, ensuring that projects are delivered within the agreed-upon scope and that any changes to scope are properly managed.
Ensure project quality: Ensure that projects are delivered to a high standard of quality, meeting or exceeding stakeholder expectations.
Manage project documentation: Manage project documentation, ensuring that all project documentation is up-to-date and accessible to project team members and stakeholders.
Facilitate project meetings: Facilitate project meetings, including project kick-off meetings, status update meetings, and project close-out meetings.
**Compensation:** - $100,000 to $140,000 +/- and this position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans. Application will be accepted by 2/17/2026
