About the role
As a Product Designer Senior Manager at Cognizant TriZetto, you will be responsible for authoring business requirements for complex functionality to be delivered as part of the TriZetto product portfolio. Driving to create the high-level designs and the detailed functional design artifacts, with other internal stakeholders, that will be used to develop TriZetto products and solutions. Serving as a subject matter expert in all areas of the software development life cycle (i.e., software engineering, quality assurance, and technical communications), assists customer support, sales and consulting/implementation services.
In this role, you will:
• Analyzing and translating business and user requirements into high level designs and functional specifications which could include design of new or changed processing, data requirements user interfaces, and/or database design.
• 2. Participating in innovation by learning to identify and present alternative solutions to solve business needs and articulating the pros and cons of the various approaches.
• 3. Participating in internal and customer meetings to clarify requirements, formulate design approaches and confirm that they meet the business needs.
• 4. Collaborating with other product design teams to ensure that integration and interfaces between our products are an integral part of the planning and design process.
• 5. Applying Agile development practices.
Work Model

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3-4 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Bridgewater, NJ. What you need to have to be considered
Technical Competencies:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Good to excellent facilitation, negotiation, influencing and problem solving skills.
Behavioral Competencies:
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of management.
• Strong presentation skills with the ability to present to all levels of management.
Experience:
• Minimum of five years' related experience in a software development environment.
These will help you stand out
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be taken into consideration in lieu of a degree.
• Healthcare (Health Plan) industry preferred.
• Subject Matter Expertise in one or more disciplines og a Health Plan (e.g., Claims, EDI, ITS, Billing, Membership, Utilization/Care Management…etc)

Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until 1/30/25.
The annual salary for this position is between $89,000 - $154,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
