• SAP IBP Principal Functional Architect

    About the role

     

    As a SAP IBP Principal Functional Architect, you will make an impact by designing, implementing, and supporting SAP IBP solutions for supply chain planning processes. You will be a valued member of the team and work collaboratively with business stakeholders, technical teams, and clients.

    In this role, you will:

    • Lead client-facing engagements and guide customers with best practices

    • Gather and analyze business requirements for IBP modules (Demand, Supply, Inventory, S&OP)

    • Design and configure SAP IBP solutions aligned with business needs

    • Support integration between SAP IBP and other systems (S/4HANA, ECC, APO)

    • Drive continuous improvements and optimize IBP functionalities

     

    Work model: Remote with travel for milestones

    What you need to have to be considered

    • 15+ years of SAP experience, including 4-5 years in SAP IBP implementation

    • Strong expertise in supply chain planning processes

    • Hands-on experience with IBP modules and configuration

    • Ability to lead client-facing roles and workshops

    • Experience in integration with SAP and external systems

    These will help you stand out

    • Knowledge of best practices and potential pitfalls in IBP implementations

    • Experience building project documentation templates

    • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

    • Ability to drive and track solutions with SI and customers

    • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies

    Salary and Other Compensation

     

    The annual salary for this position is between $156,500 - $183,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

     

    This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
