Technical Lead – AWS & Spring Boot Microservices

Job Summary:

The Technical Lead with 6 to 10 years the role is pivotal in driving the development and implementation of cutting-edge solutions using AWS Spring Boot Microservices Spring Core Core Java and PL/SQL. With a hybrid work model and day shifts the candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance airline domain applications ensuring robust and scalable systems that align with business objectives.

Responsibilities:

+ Lead the design and development of high-quality software solutions using AWS Spring Boot and Microservices to meet business requirements.

+ Oversee the integration of Spring Core and Core Java technologies to ensure seamless functionality and performance.

+ Provide technical expertise in PL/SQL to optimize database interactions and enhance data management processes.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements in airline domain applications.

+ Ensure the scalability and reliability of systems by applying best practices in software development and architecture.

+ Drive innovation by exploring new technologies and methodologies to enhance system capabilities.

+ Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high coding standards and quality.

+ Mentor junior developers fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.

+ Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

+ Implement security measures to protect data integrity and ensure compliance with industry standards.

+ Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and enhance user experience.

+ Facilitate agile development practices to ensure timely delivery of projects and adaptability to changing requirements.

+ Contribute to the companys purpose by developing solutions that improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction in the airline industry.

Qualifications:

+ Possess extensive experience in AWS Spring Boot Microservices Spring Core Core Java and PL/SQL demonstrating a strong technical foundation.

+ Have a good understanding of the airline domain which is advantageous for developing industry-specific applications.

+ Demonstrate proficiency in hybrid work environments effectively collaborating with remote and on-site teams.

+ Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to evolving technologies and business needs.

+ Show commitment to maintaining high standards of software quality and performance.

+ Display excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

+ Have a proactive approach to learning and staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Salary and compensation:

The annual salary for this position will be between $60,000 to $90,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
