We’re seeking a **PMT Residential - Field Service Specialist** to support a long-term project and deliver exceptional service in the field.

About the Role

As a **PMT Residential- Field Service Specialist** you will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining gas meters and regulators while ensuring compliance with safety standards. Your work will directly impact operational reliability and customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Do

+ Check existing meters, install replacement meters, and perform final meter tests.

+ Replace gas regulators when necessary.

+ Collect data accurately and document installations using a company-provided handheld device.

+ Maintain exceptional safety standards and identify hazardous or abnormal operating conditions.

+ Check and identify gas leaks on meter sets.

+ Safely turn on and off customer gas supplies.

+ Perform shut down and relighting of gas appliances.

+ Use appropriate hand tools to remove and install new gas meters.

+ Meet daily installation goals as established by the Project Manager.

+ Communicate and interact professionally with utility customers.

+ Work outdoors in all weather conditions, walking, climbing, and stooping for up to 10 hours per day.

Qualifications

Required:

+ High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).

+ Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

+ Ability to pass **MVR, DOT PHMSA** -compliant drug screen, and background check.

+ Must successfully complete OQ training, field evaluation, and obtain OQ certifications.

+ Strong technical, written, and oral communication skills.

+ Ability to work independently and use hand tools requiring upper body force up to 30 lbs.

+ Adherence to all Federal, State, and Local driving requirements, company policies, and OSHA regulations.

Preferred:

+ Previous experience in Natural Gas Field Service Operations.

+ Experience installing or repairing gas meters.

+ Familiarity with technology, computers, and various software programs.

**Pay Details:** $22.00 per hour
