Position Description:
**Job Summary:** The Commercial Development Analyst III will play a pivotal role in origination and development of large-scale natural gas projects, including power generation, renewable natural gas (RNG), and pipeline infrastructure expansions. This position combines strategic market development, commercial structuring, and economic evaluation to advance capital projects aligned with corporate growth objectives. Key responsibilities include identifying and advancing greenfield opportunities, developing and managing commercial prospects, negotiating long-term contracts and tariffs, and performing financial modeling (NPV, IRR) to support investment decisions. The role will also require collaboration with internal stakeholder groups such as engineering, gas supply, and system planning in addition to leading cross-functional teams through project opportunity analysis. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or engineering, at least five years of relevant experience, and strong skills in financial analysis, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement.

What You Will Do
Identify, prioritize, and develop new opportunities to increase revenue and ensure the sustainability of our business, with a focus on origination and development of utility-scale projects such as compressed natural gas, combined heat and power, renewable natural gas, economic development, and other strategic initiatives.
Research, develop, analyze, and evaluate initiatives aimed at increasing gas load, addressing competitive threats, promoting natural gas use, and delivering value-added solutions for large-scale customers.
Develop business cases and perform economic evaluations to support investment decisions.
Build customer relationships and network with internal and external commercial development and industry contacts, including attendance at industry conferences and workshops as necessary.
Develop step-by-step strategic plans to expand existing initiatives and originate new projects.
Create strategies to roll out new programs and offerings and ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
Participate in ongoing review of implemented strategies to confirm performance metrics and make adjustments necessary to meet corporate goals and expectations.

What You Will Need
Bachelor's Degree Business, engineering, finance, or related field, or an equivalent combination of formal education plus experience in following areas:
Strong knowledge of strategic planning and operational policies, with the ability to apply them to complex projects
Application of basic math and financial analysis principles.
Experience in use and function of office equipment including computers and applicable software.
Demonstrated ability and/or training related to public speaking and interpersonal communication skills and development programs.
Demonstrated ability in researching and preparing reports, and correspondence.
Demonstrated ability in developing information and making presentations.
Demonstrated ability in reviewing and interpreting journals, publications, governmental regulations, pending legislation, and correspondence.
Demonstrated ability in interacting, negotiating, advising, and communicating effectively internally and externally.
Demonstrated ability in representing company in contacts with public officials and potential customers and trade allies.
Demonstrated ability to identify and analyze potential new opportunities and develop and present marketing strategies to internal stakeholders and leadership as well as end users.
Demonstrated ability to read and write fluently in English.
Applicable driver's license. Requires travel to other company locations, and to outside meetings with customers and others.
Mobility to travel in and around office facilities as well as customer locations.
Communicate and/or exchange information; conduct oral presentations.
