    Wells Fargo’s Global Payments & Liquidity (GPL) team is an integrated, forward-looking product organization with end-to-end payments, data, liquidity and associated lending solutions that enable our clients to achieve their business objectives in an evolving digital world.

     

    Wells Fargo is seeking a **Lead Analytics Consultant** to join our Global Payments & Liquidity (GPL) team. This role is critical in shaping data-driven strategies by delivering actionable insights, robust reporting, and advanced analytics that empower GPL leadership to make informed decisions.

    Key Responsibilities

    + **Partner with Business Leaders:** Collaborate with GPL Product and Sales teams to understand business drivers and identify opportunities to leverage data for strategic actions.

    + **Analytics & Reporting:** Own metric reporting and perform deep-dive analyses to uncover trends and key performance drivers.

    + **Dashboard Development:** Design and maintain impactful dashboards and reports that clearly communicate business performance.

    + **Ad-Hoc Analysis:** Deliver timely, tailored reports to address evolving business needs.

    + **Data Governance:** Establish and enforce best practices for data quality, integrity, and governance across analytics processes.

    Required Qualifications

    + **5+ years** of experience in analytics, including metric reporting, dashboard development, and performance analysis (or equivalent through work experience, training, military service, or education).

    + **5+ years** of Advanced proficiency in **SQL** and **Excel** for data extraction, transformation, and complex analysis.

    + Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into actionable insights and communicate findings effectively.

    + Strong understanding of **data quality and governance principles** .

    + Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive data-informed decisions.

    Desired Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, or related field.

    + Prior experience in financial services, ideally with knowledge of payment solutions and liquidity management.

    + Proficiency in analytics and visualization tools:

    + **Power BI** or **Tableau** for interactive dashboards and KPI reporting.

    + **Python** or **R** for advanced analytics and automation.

    + Familiarity with business process modeling tools (e.g., Visio) and project management platforms (e.g., Jira).

    + Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills with ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions.

    + Exceptional communication skills for writing concise reports, presenting findings, and facilitating stakeholder discussions.

    + Proven project management expertise with ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

    Job Expectations

    + Must work on-site at 550 S Tryon St, Charlotte, NC. No other locations considered.
