    Job Summary and Qualifications

    + The Assistant Controller is the Manager of the Finance Office.

    + You will oversee and manage the day to day operations of the office (outlined in the Job Responsibilities below), and assist the Controller in other tasks as assigned.

    + You will be responsible for the overall operations of Finance. This includes reviewing of the General Ledger for accuracy, maintaining current balance sheet reconciliations and fixed asset system. S

    + You will supervise payroll, ensuring that all current payroll policies and practices are followed, accurate, and are implemented in a timely manner.

    + You will be responsible for assisting and monitoring the Accounts Payable function, located at the Supply Chain Services, to ensure that vendors are paid timely and according policy.

    What qualifications you will need:

    Licensure/Certifications:

    + None required, CPA is encouraged.

    Education:

    + Bachelor’s Degree

    Experience:

    + Degree and three (3) years’ experience as a Staff Accountant in a healthcare environment. If non-degreed, six (6) years’ experience as a Staff Accountant in a healthcare environment.
