SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Elevate your career with Penn State Health’s Division of Pediatric Cardiology. We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our outpatient team at the Leader Heights Clinic, where you will play a key role in delivering exceptional, family-centered cardiac care to children across the region.
In this influential role, you will manage routine, follow-up, and acute visits in a well-supported, collaborative practice alongside experienced physicians and advanced practice providers. You will leverage your clinical expertise to conduct thorough evaluations, interpret diagnostic studies, and guide patients through their care plans with clarity and confidence. You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to academic growth by teaching PA and NP students in the clinical environment.
We are looking for a candidate with at least one year of pediatric cardiology experience—or a strong foundation in pediatrics—who brings excellent communication skills, sound clinical judgment, and a patient-centered approach. If you thrive in a dynamic outpatient setting and are motivated by improving health outcomes for children and families, we encourage you to apply.
This full-time position offers a Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. schedule, no weekends or holidays, and a shared telehealth call rotation of approximately one to two evenings per month.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
+ Currently licensed to practice as a Nurse Practitioner by State of employment
+ Basic Life Support (BLS)
