    Position Summary

    Effectively manages various customer service tasks while delivering excellent customer service, resolving complaints, and troubleshooting issues professionally and accurately.

    Responsibilities

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Provide professional and courteous telephone support to internal and external customers while adhering to the highest call quality standards.

    + Ensure availability to accept inbound calls and complete outbound calls.

    + Conduct outbound calls to establish and/or strengthen customer relationships with Bridgestone Golf (BSG).

    + Receive, review, and process all order requests promptly and efficiently by thoroughly checking customer orders for pricing, accuracy, and compliance with company policies.

    + Provide daily support to assigned Territory Sales Managers, by responding to emails and phone calls regarding order changes, inquiries, and statuses promptly.

    + Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of BSG products, processes, and promotions and provide accurate information to customers.

    + Accurately and promptly submit Customer Service Correspondence (CSC) requests for credits and rebills.

    + Establish customer access on the Customer Web Portal.

    + Issue and track Proof of Deliveries (POD) and Return Material Authorizations (RMA).

    + Collaborate daily with Logistics, Sales, Marketing, and Credit departments.

    + Resolve basic and complex order-related issues using problem-solving techniques, including the Five Whys methodology.

    + Pull and review order-related reports on a daily and weekly basis.

    + Create, update, and manage Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations.

    + Provide backup support for other team members.

    + Assist in training team members

    + Consistently meet monthly performance goals.

    + Perform additional duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

     

    Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    LANGUAGE SKILLS

    Ability to read and interpret documents such as sales programs, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Excellent communication skills are needed to work effectively with customers and the sales force.

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

    REASONING ABILITY

    Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

    Lift/Move/Push/Pull - To be able to move file boxes weighing up to 20 pounds.

     

    Vision - To be able to use a computer for the majority of the workday; to read and write.
