Middle School Math Teacher (Grades 6–8)
Schedule: 7:40 AM–2:40 PM | Start Date: ASAP – End of School Year

We’re seeking a General Education Teacher with a PEL and Middle School Math Endorsement to bring structure, enthusiasm, and instructional excellence to junior high students.
Position Overview
As the School Teacher, you will implement daily instructional plans, maintain a positive learning environment, and foster meaningful rapport with students. You’ll work collaboratively with administrators and colleagues to support instructional goals and consistent classroom management.
What You’ll Do
+ Deliver daily lesson plans in an effective, engaging manner.
+ Create and maintain a classroom environment that supports learning and personal growth.
+ Manage student behavior confidently and consistently.
+ Build strong rapport with students and communicate professionally with parents, staff, and administrators.
+ Present concepts clearly, answer questions, and support students in mastering middle school math.
+ Ensure all work aligns with professional standards and school expectations.
Required Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
+ Valid Illinois teaching license/certification with Middle School Math endorsement.
+ One year of teaching experience preferred.
+ Ability to interpret and implement instructional plans.
+ Strong communication skills (students, parents, staff, administrators, and the general public).
+ Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts.
+ Willingness to take responsibility for student safety and wellbeing.
+ Compliance with all professional standards of practice.
+ Current CPR (if applicable).
+ TB questionnaire, PPD test, or chest X-ray (as required).
+ Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.
+ Must be at least 18 years old.
