Senior Director, Product Management, Core Labs

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

+ 15 years of product management experience for a technology-driven company, including experience driving zero-to-one product capabilities and founding or incubating technical initiatives.

+ 15 years of experience in product management, providing product outlook and roadmaps, and directing product launches.

Preferred qualifications:

+ Experience working with stakeholders to achieve consensus through principled methodologies and tangible outcomes.

+ Expertise in applied AI within an enterprise context.

+ Experience with organizational leadership, and the ability to navigate ambiguity, and collaborate with and influence teams across boundaries (e.g., cross-product, cross-organization, etc.).

The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer. We look across Google’s products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers and strengthen existing systems. As the Core team, we have a mandate and a unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $320,000-$445,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

+ Lead and inspire a high-performing team of Product Managers, UX Designers, and UX Researchers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.

+ Develop a product outlook and roadmap for our AI products across Google including AI agents for key user groups, deployment and development of foundational infrastructure, and Google’s agentic ecosystem.

+ Collect feedback, understand use cases, and rapidly test and iterate. Use data to influence the product development of AI products across the company. Own the narrative of how Google uses AI for productivity, efficiency, and excellence.

+ Lead outbound coordination efforts across product areas by building relationships, partnering and influencing product area leads and their teams across Google.

+ Lead a small team with outsized impact and the ability to influence the product roadmaps of many products, both within Core and across the company.
