_Ensuring Chart’s Success…_
The employee in this position will cut structural steel to required lengths and required angle degrees; cut materials with hand torch; kit materials, warehouse and transport kits, etc.
_What Will You Do?_
Follows all safety policies and company-wide safety requirements; encourages action assuring safe behavior; confronts unsafe behavior and conditions proactively and positively.
Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
Attends, participates and conducts pre-shift and weekly safety meetings.
Complies with all Chart policies and procedures including Attendance, Code of Conduct, PPE/Dress Code, Teamwork, etc.
The ability to predictably and regularly attend work and to be punctual.
The ability to follow direction or instruction.
Clocks in and out of Time and Attendance, jobs, etc.
Reads and interprets blue prints.
Solves job related issues such as print and material discrepancies.
Maintains accurate raw material count.
Provides production and procedural guidance for Saw Operator.
Rolls and Closes job or Completes Operation in Syteline.
Analyzes prints or instructions for discrepancies.
Cross-trains in other areas/departments as needed.
Reads, analyzes, understands and demonstrates knowledge of Chart Quality Systems including travelers, work instructions, In-Process Inspection Check Lists, etc.
Conducts himself/herself in a considerate, professional, cooperative and helpful manner toward fellow employees, customers, vendors and visitors.

_Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…_
Physical Requirements of the Position
Exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally.
Exert up to 30 pounds of force frequently.
Exert up to 10 pounds of force constantly.
Balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, talking, hearing, repetitive motion
Visual Acuity Requirements of the Position:
The worker is required to have close visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work assigned, inspect work, etc.
Conditions the Employee will be Subject to in this Position:
Indoor and outdoor environmental conditions. Activities occur inside and outside.
Extreme heat. Temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour. Consideration should be given to the effect of other environmental conditions, such as wind and humidity.
Noise. There is sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above ambient noise level.
Vibration to the extremities or whole body.
Hazards. Includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current or exposure to chemicals.
Atmospheric conditions. One or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory system of the skin; fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation.
Small spaces. The worker may be required to function in narrow aisles or passageways.
**This position is classified as safety sensitive.** Due to the use of heavy machinery, power tools, and exposure to potentially hazardous conditions, the role requires heightened awareness and adherence to all safety protocols. Employees must be able to perform duties in a manner that ensures their own safety and the safety of others in the workplace
_Your Experience Should Be..._
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or GED preferred
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
+ Prior manufacturing experience
+ Pass entry and other welding tests preferred
+ Uses scale, square, protractor, dividers, straight edge, plumbline, tape measure and various common hand tools.
+ Reads and interprets blue prints.
+ Performs angle calculations, coping operations, etc.
