Position Summary

We are currently seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support our Aetna Senior Supplement Insurance (SSI) business based in Franklin, TN. This role will serve as a Product Owner of release scrum teams as well as a Project Business Analyst. The position reports to the Implementation Management Office (IMO) and it involves close collaboration with fellow Business Analysts, Project Managers, and development team members.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Ensure the desired business vision, value, and customer experience are achieved.

+ Drive timelines, milestones, documentation, and prioritization to meet delivery goals.

+ Act as the key decision maker on a SAFe Agile Scrum team, applying sound judgment in all product decisions.

+ Maintain ongoing collaboration with business stakeholders, product management, and scrum/program team members to align priorities and outcomes.

+ Participate in mandatory Program Increment (PI) planning sessions and other regular SAFe meetings to support team alignment and planning.

+ Elicit, document, and validate business requirements for projects of varying complexity.

+ Translate stakeholder needs into clear, actionable specifications and user stories.

+ Escalate critical issues to leadership as needed.

+ Prepare requirement documents, process flows, and impact analyses.

+ Ensure adherence to organizational standards and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

7+ years of directly related experience

3+ years experience as an Agile or Scaled Agile (SAFe) Product Owner

3+ years experience as a business analyst

Effective verbal and written communicator

Proven track record in managing project deliverables in a fast paced environment, meeting project milestones and negotiating for resources

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in Insurance/Healthcare industry strongly encouraged

SAFe Product Owner certification strongly encouraged

Education

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$75,400.00 - $165,954.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
