CTG is seeking to fill a Threat Detection, Response & Intelligence Consultant position for our client.
**Location:** Dallas, TX (Onsite)
**Duration:** 3 months
Duties:
+ Lead OT Security shift operations in a 24/7 SOC.
+ Monitor, triage, and investigate alerts across SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, IDS/IPS, and network tools.
+ Analyze OT/ICS events (SCADA, PLCs, RTUs, HMIs) and IT logs (Windows, Linux, macOS).
+ Apply MITRE ATT&CK and Cyber Kill Chain during incident investigations.
+ Produce incident reports, remediation guidance, and threat intelligence insights.
+ Support vulnerability management and mentor junior SOC analysts.
Required Skills & Experience:
+ Bachelor’s in IT, CS, Cybersecurity (Master’s preferred).
+ 5–7 years in cybersecurity; SOC experience strongly preferred.
+ 3+ years OT/ICS security experience.
+ Strong understanding of networking, OS security, OT systems, and detection tools.
+ Advanced certs desired: CySA+, CEH, OSCP, GICSP, CCNA Security, ISA/IEC 62443.
+ Excellent analytical ability and communication skills.
+ Ability to work shift schedules, including occasional after-hours support.
Nice to Have:
+ Knowledge of OT protocols (DNP3, Modbus, IEC 104, OPC UA).
+ Experience with protocol vulnerabilities and packet analysis.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
