    CTG's long-standing Fortune 500 client of over 15 years has a W2 contract assignment for an IT Analyst III.

    _Candidates must be able to commute and work onsite in Wilmington, NC_

    **Pay Rate:** Based on experience

    **Work Hours:** M-F 8am-5pm

    **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant experience

    Description

    We are seeking an experienced IT Analyst III to design, develop, test, and maintain software systems. The role involves converting legacy platforms to modern .NET/.NET Core architectures, solving complex technical problems, and contributing to large-scale projects that directly impact business operations.

    Responsibilities

    + Develop, test, and debug software, components, tools, and utilities.

    + Convert COM exe’s and DLLs to modern .NET/.NET Core architectures.

    + Troubleshoot and optimize application performance, including memory leaks and runtime issues.

    + Collaborate with small development teams and business stakeholders.

    + Apply computer science and engineering principles across software, databases, and networks.

    Required Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

    + 5+ years of .NET Framework/.NET Core development experience.

    + Proficiency in C#, Visual Studio.NET, ASP.NET, VB.NET, SQL Server, MVC, and SSIS.

    + Experience with client/server RDBMS systems and UX/UI design.

    Highly Desired Skills

    + Database technology and SQL proficiency.

    + Experience with Git, Azure DevOps/GitLab.

    + WPF, MAUI, Win UI, or Blazor development.

    + Web application development (front-end and back-end).

    + Data access using Entity Framework or Dapper.

    Soft Skills

    + Strong teamwork and communication skills.

    + Ability to work directly with stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
