Required Education/Experience

+ Bachelor's Degree and one year of relevant work experience including co-op, internships or research. Basic Science, Statistics, Analytics

Preferred Education/Experience

+ Bachelor's Degree STEM Related Field (Chemistry, Biology and one year of relevant work experience including co-op, internships or research. Basic Science, Statistics, Analytics

Relevant Work Experience

+ One-year relevant experience (includes co-op or internships), required. Required

+ Must be an enthusiastic, effective communicator and promote Cross-Commodity Work Coordination. Preferred

+ Ability to understand workflows and daily operations of one or more of the following areas is required: Electric Operations, Gas Operations, Construction, Engineering, NYCDOT permit administration, Westchester permit administration, or related support organizations. Preferred

+ Must understand how to find and interpret specifications, drawings, layouts, flysheets, contract documents, prints and diagrams. Preferred

+ Develops and delivers effective presentations

+ Strong verbal communication and listening skills

+ Demonstrated ability to maintain confidential information

+ Performs work independently with minimal supervision

+ Possesses flexibility to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment

+ Well organized, detail oriented and flexible to handle multiple assignments

+ Driver's License Required

Additional Physical Demands

+ The selected candidate will be assigned a System Emergency Assignment (i.e., an emergency response role) and will be expected to work non-business hours during emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.

+ Must be able to work at a desk, respond promptly to phone calls, text messages, and computer notifications, and work in front of a computer for 8 hours daily.

+ Must be willing and able to meet and converse with stakeholders face to face at various locations

+ Must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory, as needed.
